Course Description: Overview of services available at Nystrom & Associates.


Speaker Bios:

Jess Girard has been with Nystrom & Associates for almost 11 years. She has a Masters of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy from St. Mary's University. She currently holds the positions of Community Outreach Manager and Outpatient Mental Health Therapist at Nystrom & Associates. She is Board Member for the Mental Wellness Campaign of Anoka County, and co-founded the Professional Outreach Networking Group.

Brent Simon has been with Nystrom & Associates for over 3 years. He has a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from the University of Minnesota Duluth. He holds the position of Community Outreach Coordinator at Nystrom & Associates. He is a member of the Northwest Healthy Communities Partnership, a member of the Partners in Prevention Coalition, and is continually active in the community to promote mental health awareness.

Learning Objectives:

  • Attendees will learn about mental health and chemical dependency resources available at Nystrom & Associates

Target Audience: OTR, OTA, OTS with interest in mental health OT.
