Name of Presentation: Mechanisms of Change in Occupational Therapy Interventions
Presentation Description: Second-year students in the Occupational Therapy Pr ogram at St. Scholastica will present a series of topics on mechanism of ch ange in OT interventions. These presentations focus on the mechanism of act ion that explains why a given intervention should work based on th eoretical and scientific-based data. Students will also present information on does the intervention work, based on a search of the rehabilit ation literature. Four concurrent sessions will be offered in the first hal f hour and another four in the second half hour for a total of 8 presentati ons (participants will select two).
Presenter Bio: all presentations will be provided by teams of four second-year students in the Occupational Therapy Program at The College of Saint Scholastica.
