2017 MOTA Annual Conference

If you or a colleague have special interests or expertise in a subject matter pertinent to Occupational Therapy, or have innovative treatment approaches, please take this opportunity to submit a proposal or encourage others to do so for the MOTA Annual Conference in November. We are looking for posters as well as one-hour, two-hour and a limited number of three-hour presentations that focus on clinically relevant approaches to our profession in a variety of OT practice areas.


Submission Process

Proposals must be submitted electronically via the website using the application form below. 

Be sure that your narrative includes the following information:

  • Learning Objectives
  • Description of Content
  • Relevance to OT
  • Maximum number of participants
  • Audiovisual Needs
  • A short bio

Please note: If your proposal is accepted, your abstract submitted below will be used as submitted.

You will be notified in July if your proposal is accepted.

  • Mental Health and Cognition
  • Pediatrics 
  • School-based Therapy
  • Physical Disabilities (Inpatient or Outpatient)
  • Academia/Student Information
  • Professional Practice Issues
