Speaker Bio: Russ Turner, MA, MS, i s the Director of People Incorporated’s Training Institute. During hi s 12-year tenure he has developed and taught a curriculum of training class es in subjects related to behavioral health for mental health professionals and practitioners, agencies and organizations in the community including l aw enforcement, healthcare, and social services. He trains trainers, works with leaders, and has consulted and coached on numerous mental health relat ed projects. He has worked as a teacher or trainer for over 25 years in a v ariety of countries and settings including Japan, the Czech Republic and th e UK. His teaching philosophy is that adults learn best when they are chall enged, the material is applicable to work situations, and sessions are inte ractive and engaging.
