MOTA Board Open Positions

Looking for leadership opportunities and chance to make a difference? Joining the MOTA Board will help you shape the direction and activities of the association, develop leadership skills, have a defined title that you can put on a resume to highlight your leadership skills, leverage your association with MOTA with your employer to advance the profession in your particular practice setting, and expand your professional network with colleagues all over the state. Check out the current opportunities linked below and  consider sharing your talents by serving as a MOTA Board member. Board positions can be shared by two people, so if you and a colleague want to consider tag teaming a role we do have a model for that approach that has worked well. The board meets monthly over Zoom, and between the meeting and associated activities of each role, the total time commitment is approximately 4-6 hours a month. Click here to see a detailed description of each position available.

Government Affairs Committee (GAC)

Did you Know???

MOTA has a very active Government Affairs Committee (GAC) made up of members from a variety of areas of practice who volunteer their time to monitor legislation to support occupational therapy practice and the accessibility of services to our clients. In conjunction with our lobbyist, the GAC works to coordinate federal, state, and local activities. The committee meets monthly and welcomes new members from all practice areas. Click here to see the agencies with whom GAC represents MOTA members.
