A group of metro occupational therapists is looking to create more connection and benefit for school-based therapists through our state association! We need to hear more about what you want and need from MOTA and how we can connect and create a supportive environment for school based therapists in Minnesota! Here is a survey to fill out to help us create the group you are looking for MOTA School SIG survey. 5 Things You Can Do to Fight Reimbursement CutsThe 2021 Medicare Physician Fee Schedule contains a proposed 9% cut to therapy reimbursement to offset increases to primary care payments. Now is the time to join us in one of the largest grassroots advocacy campaigns in AOTA’s history. Watch this video (or read the transcript) that explains the situation and outlines the 5 things you can do to fight the cuts. Most urgent on this list is using AOTA’s template letter to contact the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) and comment on the proposed fee schedule rule on regulations by October 5.
