Event Description: This course will include discussion of the following: Cover Letters and Resumes that get read Interviewing: before, during, and after, actions to take and pitfalls to avoid. Tips for networking and identifying a mentor… or two!
Speaker Biography: Terri earned her BS and MS of Occupational Therapy from the University of Texas San Antonio Health Science Center. She has over 15 year of experience hiring, training, and mentoring related service providers (OTs, PTs, MT, adapted PE teachers, teachers for the visually impaired, O&M specialists, assistive technology specialists) in one of the largest school districts in Texas. Terri has been an employee of St. Catherine University starting in 2017 as an adjunct professor and lab instructor before moving to full time in 2020. She is currently the student and fieldwork manager for their online OTA program which has student enrollment across the U.S.
