Timed Agenda ● 5:30-5:35 Introductions and background information ● 5:35-6:15 Presentation ● 6:15-6:30 Discussion/Questions and Answers Event Description Course will explore Retinopathy of Prematurity (ROP) and its impact on vision and development Speaker Biography Dr. Sasha Strul provides compassionate, state-of-the-art medical and surgical eye care to all children and to adults with strabismus. A dedicated patient advocate and educator, Dr. Strul emphasizes the critical role ocular health plays in child development and involves her patients and their families throughout the medical decision-making process. Learning Objectives Participants will: Improve understanding of Retinopathy of Prematurity and the long-term outcomes in order to provide improved clinical skills for this population. 1. Describe visual development and signs of abnormal visual development 2. Understand ROP and its impact on the developing eye and vision 3.
