Event Description:
Presenter will use self as a case study in assessing and responding to late onset vision issues. Participants will have access to a table that allows them to apply the OTPF by identifying clinical observations to OT domains. This will aid in increasing understanding of how vision changes impact daily function.

Live interaction after a pre-recorded session will allow interaction with the speaker and further discussion about application to practice. Examples of strategies will be shared. .

PDF handouts of slides will be available online to upload before the presentation goes live on 8/30/2023.


Speaker Credentials and Biographies: 

Mrs. Rhoda Erhardt, MS, OTR/L, FAOTA, recently retired from her private practice as a pediatric consultant to health agencies, educational systems, and business corporations. She has lectured nationally and internationally on topics such as eye- hand coordination, feeding, handwriting, hand function, hand preference, learning/teaching styles, visual-perceptual motor problems, and visual function. Instructional materials she has created include textbooks, assessments, treatment, and DVDs.
